Prep Cook II

This is a part-time position, offering 24-32 hours per week.

Responsibilities

  • Working 3-4 shifts per week, 8am-4pm

  • Builds on Prep Cook I responsibilities

  • Cold produce prep using knife skills

  • Prepping cold sauces & marinades

  • Seasoning & marinating various proteins (chicken, beef, fish, etc.)

  • Properly storing new inventory from truck deliveries

  • In-store pick up of ingredient & supply orders

  • Maintaining a clean & organized work space

  • Light cleaning duties

  • Additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Valid U.S. driver's license

  • Previous commercial foodservice experience

  • Ability to lift 40+ pounds

  • Valid food handler card

  • Ability to multitask

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Strong verbal communication skills

  • Strong reading skills

  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment

  • Works well under pressure

  • Team player oriented

  • Well organized

  • Good memory

  • Able to stand up to 4+ hours at a time
