Prep Cook I

This is a part-time position, offering up to 24 hours per week.

Responsibilities

  • Work part-time up to 4 shifts per week:

    • Monday-Sunday 9am-3pm

    • Monday-Sunday 3pm-9pm

  • Basic food prep tasks (weighing, portioning, etc.)

  • Basic cooking tasks (heating foods, deep frying, etc.)

  • Seasoning & marinating various proteins (chicken, beef, fish, etc.)

  • Following standardized recipes to prep entrées & side dishes

  • Driving a company vehicle to pick up ingredients & supplies from local vendors

  • Maintaining a clean & organized work space

  • Light cleaning duties & dishwashing

  • Additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Must have a valid U.S. driver's license

  • Clean driving record

  • Previous commercial foodservice experience preferred

  • Ability to multitask

  • Ability to lift 40+ pounds

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Strong verbal communication skills

  • Strong reading skills

  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment

  • Works well under pressure

  • Team player oriented

  • Well organized

  • Good memory

  • Able to stand up to 4+ hours at a time
