Order Expediter

This is a part-time position, offering 15-20 hours per week. This is not a full-time job.

Responsibilities

  • Working 3-4 shifts per week, 11am-4:30pm --or-- 4pm-9:30pm
  • Accurately preparing customer food orders from machine printed order tickets
  • Working closely with cashier & cooks to prepare food orders
  • Handing out food orders over the counter to customers for dine-in or takeout
  • Providing exceptional customer service
  • Replenishing food line steam table with prepared pans of food
  • Basic food prep tasks (weighing, portioning, etc.)
  • Basic cooking tasks (heating foods, deep frying, etc.)
  • Setup & cleaning of workstation
  • Additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Valid U.S. driver's license
  • Previous commercial foodservice experience
  • Valid food handler card
  • Ability to multitask
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong verbal communication skills
  • Strong reading skills
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Works well under pressure
  • Team player oriented
  • Customer service oriented
  • Well organized
  • Good memory
  • Able to stand up to 4 hours at a time
