Caribbean Grill to Participate in Annual Jamaican Jerk Festival
November 4, 2012
CHAMPAIGN, Illinois (November 4, 2012) - Caribbean Grill looks to make a national impact next weekend at the annual Jamaican Jerk Festival, just outside of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.
Each year, over 15,000 patrons gather for the day long festival featuring food vendors, cooking demonstrations, a concert series, and much more. This year, Caribbean Grill hopes to make its presence known, and gain nationwide exposure. Executive Chef/Owner Mike Harden says, "I attended the festival last year, just to experience the whole event. It was a great time, and I thought to myself, we could be here too." While its a long way from home, Harden has been steadily planning, preparing and organizing with "Team CG," as he calls it. "We've got a great group of people on our team, and there is no way I could make this happen without them."
Caribbean Grill plans to offer its full menu to the thousands of hungry event goers, and believes that their cuisine will be received well. If the response in Champaign-Urbana is any indication, then Caribbean Grill will have a strong showing, and represent well for Illinois and the Midwest, in the heavily Caribbean populated sunshine state. The Jamaican Jerk Festival will take place Sunday November 11, 2012 in Sunrise, Florida. For more information, visit the official festival website.
