Caribbean Grill to Help Raise Awareness, Funds for Voter Registration
August 2, 2012

CHAMPAIGN, Illinois (August 2, 2012) - With a pivotal presidential election ahead this fall, Caribbean Grill has partnered with the Regional Office of Education (ROE) programs, the Freedom School and Generation Next, to help raise awareness and funds for voter registration.

Using their CG Lunch to Go! @ Refinery service as a platform, Caribbean Grill has committed to donating 20% of its sales on Wednesday August 8 and Wednesday August 15 to the Freedom School and Generation Next, for their voter registration initiatives. Customers must present this flier at the time of purchase, for funds to be accumulated.

Each week from 11am to 2pm on Wednesdays only, Caribbean Grill offers its Signature Menu to go, from inside of Refinery (2302 W. John Street, Champaign). Caribbean Grill Owner Mike Harden says, "This is a great opportunity not only for Caribbean Grill to build our own brand awareness, but to also take up civic responsibility and build awareness for voter registration, with the upcoming fall elections. We view it as an honor to support the Freedom School and Generation Next, in their efforts to increase resources to further their cause."
