Caribbean Grill Catering Now Available

CHAMPAIGN, Illinois (January 14, 2011) – You first heard of Caribbean Grill at the 2010 Taste of Champaign-Urbana. Then, you saw them again at the 35th Annual Urbana Sweet Corn Festival. Now, Caribbean Grill offers its Jerk Chicken, Rice 'n Peas, and Island Fruit Punch to C-U, by way of catering.

“Catering is a great way to gain exposure and keep the name Caribbean Grill on the tips of everyone's tongues,” says Mike Harden, independent Owner and Operator of the catering service. “Eventually, I would love to have a store-front restaurant, but for now, I am just really excited to share my food with Champaign-Urbana, through catering.”

Caribbean Grill will continue to offer up its sweet and spicy Jamaican Jerk Chicken, along with a few more traditional island favorites. Among them, Jerk Fish, Curry Chicken, Brown Stew Chicken, and Oxtail-Style Stew Beef. For those with a sweet tooth, Harden recommends the Pineapple Rum Cake and Island Fruit Punch.

How authentic is it you ask? “All of my recipes are made from scratch with fresh ingredients. Its more work sometimes, but the end product is definitely worth it. You can taste the difference,” contends Harden.
