Cook II

This is a full-time position, offering 36-40 hours per week.

Responsibilities

  • Working 4-6 shifts per week

    • Monday-Saturday 7am-4:30pm --or-- 4pm-9:30pm

    • Sunday 9am-5pm

  • Builds on Cook I, Prep Cook I & Prep Cook II responsibilities

  • Following standardized recipes to cook entrées & side dishes daily

  • Supervising kitchen staff to ensure favorable outcomes

  • Monitoring available food quantities & temperatures

  • Monitoring kitchen equipment for proper function

  • Maintaining a clean & organized work space

  • Light cleaning duties

  • Additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Valid U.S. driver's license

  • Previous commercial foodservice experience

  • Previous supervisory experience

  • Valid foodservice sanitation manager certification

  • Ability to lift 40+ pounds

  • Strong problem solving skills

  • Ability to multitask

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Strong verbal communication skills

  • Strong written communication skills

  • Strong reading skills

  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment

  • Works well under pressure

  • Team player oriented

  • Customer service oriented

  • Well organized

  • Good memory

  • Able to stand up to 4+hours at a time
